Former Miss Vietnam 2012, Dang Thu Thao, favors monochromatic, pattern-free dresses for a sophisticated look in both daily life and public appearances. On September 20, Dang Thu Thao attended the closing ceremony of designer Do Manh Cuong's debut art exhibition, "Nhung mua hoa trong ky uc," in Ho Chi Minh City. She opted for a minimalist cream-colored outfit, accessorized with a crocodile leather Lady D-Joy bag worth over $15,000. At 35, she is praised by audiences for maintaining her beauty from when she was first crowned. Previously, she wore the same dress and blazer to an event in 2023, paired with an Hermes Birkin bag. Thu Thao has pursued a monochromatic style, emphasizing simplicity and elegance for many years. To create eye-catching accents, she often chooses limited edition pieces from top fashion houses like Hermes, Louis Vuitton, and Dior. During a trip to Tokyo in 2024, she combined a pink Kelly bag with a tweed fabric jacket. Thao impressed with classic black and white ensembles, featuring Louis Vuitton silk tops, belts, bags, and Dior slingback shoes. Her street style leans towards minimalism with all-cream sets. She accentuates her legs with slightly flared jeans, paired with a cardigan and a beret inspired by 1970s fashion. Attending Ha Kieu Anh's birthday party in 2023, Thu Thao chose a beige dress with a wide belt as a highlight.
