People's Party Chairman U Ko Ko Gyi urged to strive to provide the best services to the people and lead the party. U Ko Ko Gyi said this in a video message at the first party congress and fourth central committee meeting held on September 12 at the Sky Star Hotel in Tamwe Township, Yangon. He said that the People's Party should continue to lead with full understanding and trust in the peace process, which is the most important for overcoming difficulties, reuniting separated families, and quickly healing the psychological wounds of the people. He also said that it is necessary to sincerely embrace and practice the concept of providing services to the people. Representatives from regions, states, and townships, as well as members of the Central Committee and the Central Executive Committee, attended the first party congress and fourth central committee meeting held this time. At the first party congress and fourth central committee meeting, a review of the 2025 general election was presented, party congress delegates submitted papers, and discussions were held in support of the party congress proposals. Furthermore, reports were submitted by attendees from regions and states, and members of the Central Committee and the Central Executive Committee were re-elected.
