Cambodia's Ministry of Information Partners with Chenla University for Scholarships

The Ministry of Information of Cambodia has partnered with Chenla University to offer scholarships for undergraduate and associate degree programs for the 2026-2027 academic year. This initiative aims to contribute to the promotion of the education sector and provide opportunities for higher education to civil servants, staff, and their children who are facing financial difficulties, thereby fostering high-quality human resources for the nation. The partnership was formalized during a meeting on August 6, 2026, at the Ministry of Information headquarters between H.E. Net Pheaktra, Minister of Information, and Dr. Yi Lima, President of Chenla University. Dr. Yi Lima stated that Chenla University's provision of these scholarships is a contribution to supporting the development of the education sector and human resource building, creating opportunities for youth and those aspiring to pursue higher education to receive quality education. He expressed his hope that these scholarships would help alleviate the financial burden on students' families and contribute to producing competent human resources that can meet the needs of national social and economic development. Net Pheaktra expressed his gratitude and high appreciation to the leadership of Chenla University for their collaboration with the government in improving the education sector through the provision of scholarships to the Ministry of Information.
