Thai authorities have issued an arrest warrant for Saw Mut Sone, a top leader of the Karen State Border Guard Force (BGF), on July 27, on charges of human trafficking and transnational crimes. The 50-year-old Saw Mut Sone has been issued an arrest warrant for forming a transnational criminal group, committing human trafficking, and taking or receiving and detaining victims of human trafficking abroad illegally.
