Pattaya Tourist Police Enhance Drone Patrols Amid Arrival of 5,000 US Troops

PATTAYA: Tourist police in Pattaya have bolstered security measures with the deployment of unmanned aerial patrols following the arrival of approximately 5,000 U.S. military personnel. This initiative is aimed at ensuring the safety of tourists and maintaining order during the military contingent's stay in the city. On September 4th, Police Lt. Col. Prapda Suksunthree, chief inspector of Tourist Police Subdivision 4, Division 2, Tourist Police Division 1, along with Police Capt. Apichat Jarurak, an inspector in the same subdivision, are overseeing these enhanced security operations. The drone patrols are intended to provide rapid, wide-area surveillance, enabling the early detection of any potential criminal activity or disturbances.
