Vietnam, Luxembourg Boost Dialogue on Green Finance and Multilateral Cooperation

On July 24, during his attendance at the 59th ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting and related meetings in Manila, Philippines, Politburo member and Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel. The two sides agreed to further enhance dialogue and elevate the Vietnam-Luxembourg relationship to a new level. Key areas of discussion included strengthening cooperation in green finance and exploring collaboration across various sectors. Discussions also touched upon enhancing connections with the Vietnamese intellectual community in Belgium and Luxembourg, and deepening cooperation in a wide range of fields. This meeting underscores Vietnam's commitment to fostering robust international partnerships to support its ongoing economic development and its focus on sustainable growth initiatives, particularly in areas like green finance where Luxembourg has significant expertise. The engagement also reflects Vietnam's strategy to leverage its position within ASEAN to build stronger ties with European partners.
