Hue City Partners with Sun Group to Develop New Tourism and Service Products

Hue City in central Vietnam is strengthening its partnership with Sun Group to revitalize its regional economy through the development of innovative tourism and service products. This collaboration aims to maximize the utilization of Hue City's unique cultural heritage, scenic landscapes, and marine resources. Hue City and Sun Group are conducting research to create new tourism experiences along the Huong River, within heritage landscape areas, and in coastal regions such as Chan May-Lang Co. These initiatives represent a significant step towards establishing Hue City as an internationally recognized heritage city and a prominent cultural and tourism hub. The Vietnamese government plans to elevate Hue City to a centrally-governed municipality and implement a special development mechanism for the region, signaling policy support to unlock Hue's full potential. Against this backdrop, Hue City is also focusing on climate change adaptation and sustainable development, striving to achieve a "green Hue." Sun Group, a major enterprise in Vietnam involved in resort development and theme park operations, is expected to significantly contribute to the advancement of Hue's tourism industry with its development capabilities and expertise. This partnership is poised to be a crucial catalyst in transforming Hue's historical and cultural assets into contemporary tourism content.
