From August 1st to 7th, Vietnam Airlines will offer Hung Yen longan, a specialty fruit from Hung Yen province, to passengers on select domestic and international flights. This initiative is part of the airline's "Path of Agricultural Products - Four Seasons Fruits" program. The program aims to introduce high-quality agricultural products from various regions of Vietnam to both domestic and international markets, thereby boosting local economies and enhancing the brand value of these products. Hung Yen longan is one of three selected items for the program this year, following the previously featured Hung Yen egg lychee and Son La plum. Vietnam Airlines has been focusing on strengthening its financial foundation and improving services in recent years, setting a revenue growth target of 12% for 2026. The airline has also been committed to sustainable management, being recognized among the top 10 ESG companies for two consecutive years. This longan offering is seen as part of these efforts, aiming not only for passenger transport but also to promote Vietnam's rich culinary culture and regional specialties internationally. As a key player in Vietnam's domestic aviation market, Vietnam Airlines connects major cities and is expanding its network to Northeast and East Asia. This initiative is expected to create opportunities for Vietnamese agricultural products to be recognized on the international stage, contributing to the overall growth of the Vietnamese economy.
