Cambodia: Supplies Donated to Border Forces from Prime Minister and Wife

Kun Nhem, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister and Director General of the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia, on the afternoon of September 10, 2026, continued to deliver valuable donations from Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, and his wife, Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, to the 2nd Intervention Division in Siem Reap Province. On this occasion, Dr. Kun Nhem conveyed greetings from Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate and Personal Advisor to the King; Samdech Kittipreah Bun Rany Hun Sen; Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, and his wife, Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, who always pay close attention to the well-being of all hero soldiers. Dr. Kun Nhem also expressed gratitude to all Cambodian hero soldiers who sacrificed their fresh flesh and blood in the battles against the unprovoked aggression by the Thai military on two occasions. He praised their continued steadfastness and high vigilance in defending territorial integrity and ensuring the safety of the people. Although there has been calm since the ceasefire agreement on December 28, 2025, Cambodian hero soldiers continue to maintain their vigilant posts along the border. He further stated that this delivery of donations, as well as previous ones, reflects the attention of the Royal Government and the spirit of support and connection between the rear and the front lines, to encourage all Cambodian hero soldiers. The valuable donations from Samdech Thipadei and Dr. Hun Manet for the 2nd Intervention Division include: 5 tons of rice, 100 boxes of canned fish, 500 boxes of instant noodles, 516 cans of food, 200 boxes of mineral water (500ml), 50 boxes of condensed milk, 50 boxes of powdered milk tea, 130 boxes of V-Cola, 20 boxes of 3-in-1 coffee, 500 kg of sugar, 630 packs of salt, 3 tons of frozen meat, 500 kg of sausages, 300 boxes of cigarettes (20,130 sticks), 719 tubes of Berocca, 35 boxes of painkillers, 6 boxes of mosquito repellent, 10 boxes of dried chili, 200 sets of small kits (2 packs of savory snacks + 4 cans of condensed milk), 138 sets of double metal beds, 60 rolls of fabric, and 50 boxes of clothing, along with a sum of money. It should be noted that since the past invasions by the Thai military against Cambodia, the Cambodian Customs and Excise Public Servants Friendship Association has consistently delivered donations of essential goods, household items, transportation, and money to hero soldiers and armed forces for the cause of defending territorial integrity, totaling 12 times. In July, the Cambodian Customs and Excise Public Servants Friendship Association also visited and provided donations to 241 families of fallen soldiers, wounded soldiers from the past war of aggression by the Thai army, and soldiers currently on duty at the front lines in Kien Svay District, Kandal Province. Additionally, the association has provided donations to 8 groups of displaced citizens, totaling 20,446 families.
