The final assembly process utilizes collaborative robots and autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs), enabling flexible production of diverse robot models. For quality control, each robot undergoes over four hours of rigorous testing, and unique serial numbers ensure detailed traceability of components and manufacturing history. The warehouse and logistics division has developed a fully automated, three-dimensional warehouse specifically for humanoid robots, significantly enhancing storage efficiency within a limited footprint. UBTech has partnered with Siemens Digital Industries Software to collaborate on factory planning, product lifecycle management, digital twin technology, production scheduling, and quality control. This collaboration facilitates digital simulations of manufacturing processes and the utilization of Intelligence Center X as the "digital brain" for managing production activities. The manufacturing of humanoid robots has historically faced numerous challenges due to the precise assembly of numerous components. Furthermore, the rapid update cycle of products has posed difficulties for conventional production lines. UBTech's new factory aims to overcome these issues through digital twins, flexible production systems, and traceable quality management, thereby reducing operational costs while accelerating production capacity expansion and the introduction of new models to the market. China's industrial robot production reached 98,677 units in July, a 30.2% increase year-on-year. From January to July, the cumulative production volume reached 635,056 units, up 28.5%, indicating the rapid growth of the robotics industry in China.
