Prabowo Welcomes Thai PM in Jakarta, Boosting Bilateral Ties
Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto welcomed Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta. The leaders are expected to discuss strengthening regional cooperation and economic ties.
President Prabowo Subianto officially welcomed Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta this afternoon at 4:30 PM Western Indonesian Time (WIB). The meeting is part of the Thai Prime Minister's official visit to Indonesia from August 3rd to 4th. Discussions are expected to focus on strengthening regional cooperation and economic ties between the two nations. In anticipation of Prime Minister Anutin's visit, the Traffic Directorate of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police (Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya) implemented temporary traffic engineering and security measures along key arterial roads that will be part of the state guest's convoy. This measure aims to ensure the smooth execution of state agendas and show respect to the visiting dignitary. Roads potentially affected by these arrangements include those such as Halim Perdanakusuma Street, MT Haryono Street, Jenderal Sudirman Street, MH Thamrin Street, and Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, among others. This visit represents a significant opportunity for bilateral relations between Indonesia and Thailand, with expectations for further enhancement of close collaboration and partnership.
