Tropical Depression, LPA Monitored Outside PAR

A tropical depression and a low-pressure area (LPA) are being monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the state weather bureau reported on Saturday. As of 4 p.m., the tropical depression outside the PAR was monitored some 3,055 kilometers east of the country. Another LPA is also present outside the PAR and is under observation. While these weather systems are not expected to directly affect the Philippines mainland at this time, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) will continue to closely monitor their movements and provide updates as necessary. The Philippines is known to be in the path of tropical depressions and typhoons, often experiencing severe weather events, especially during the rainy season. The emergence of these new weather systems serves as a reminder to remain vigilant for potential weather changes.
