Fuel prices rise in Yangon

Yangon City's fuel reference prices, which had not seen any price changes for two consecutive weeks, saw an increase on September 25. The Fuel Import, Storage and Distribution Business Supervision Committee announced the fuel reference prices for September 25, setting the reference price for Yangon City at 4450 kyats per liter for Octane 92, 4600 kyats per liter for Octane 95, 4790 kyats per liter for ordinary diesel, and 5795 kyats per liter for premium diesel. Compared to the prices of previous days, these prices represent an increase of 625 kyats per liter for Octane 92, 650 kyats per liter for Octane 95, 640 kyats per liter for ordinary diesel, and 745 kyats per liter for premium diesel. Increases in fuel reference prices were also observed in other major cities, including Naypyidaw and Mandalay.
