Printing Management : Committee meeting held in Nay Pyi Taw

Chairman of the Government Printing Management Committee, Union Minister for Information U Htein Lin attended a work coordination meeting at the Ministry on Friday to discuss the systematic publication of state-funded books and publications to government-owned printing facilities. In his speech, the Union Minister said the Ministry-led Government Printing Management Committee had been reorganized with the responsibility of overseeing the systematic submission of state-funded printed materials to government printing facilities. He noted that the committee held its previous coordination meeting on July 3, made five decisions and is implementing the agreed measures. During the meeting, committee members and officials discussed printing activities of their respective departments, including annual work plans and ongoing submissions. It is learnt that the printing works can be ordered on schedule to printing facilities under the Printing and Publishing Department of the Ministry of Information, as well as under the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare and the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
