Battambang Province Discusses Infrastructure Development and Drought Relief Measures

A dialogue session was held in Battambang City, Battambang Province, on July 31, 2026, focusing on road infrastructure development and measures to address agricultural damage caused by drought. The meeting was attended by Governor Sok Lu, along with leaders from relevant ministries and departments. It took place at the National Cambodian Radio and Television Station in Ochar Commune, Battambang City. The primary objectives of the dialogue were to inform the public about the progress of road infrastructure development within Battambang City and to present the measures and efforts undertaken by the provincial administration and relevant technical departments to rescue rice crops affected by water shortages due to the drought. During the event, the governor and representatives from specialized ministries provided explanations and responded to questions and concerns raised by residents.
