Cambodia People's Party Directs Strengthening of Local Party Organizations and Preparation for 2027 Commune/Sangkat Council Election
Kong Kimny, head of the CPP committee in Mondulkiri province, visited Sen Monorom city and met with party members, instructing them to prepare for the 2027 local elections and enhance service to the people. Emphasis was placed on internal party unity and voter outreach.
On July 19, 2026, HE Kong Kimny, Chairman of the Cambodia People's Party (CPP) Committee of Mondulkiri Province, met with CPP members in Sen Monorom City. The meeting aimed to strengthen the party's spirit and work. Attendees included HE Sai Meng Kim, Chairman of the Provincial Party Working Group for Sen Monorom City, deputy chairmen and members of the provincial working group for Sen Monorom City and its four communes, Mr. Hiek Sophann, Chairman of the Sen Monorom City Party Committee, Mr. Chay Thai, Vice Chairman of the City Party Committee, as well as standing committee members, city party committee members, and numerous chairmen, vice-chairmen, and members of the city party committee. The event took place at the Sen Monorom City Party Committee headquarters. HE Kong Kimny instructed the party members to visit citizens' homes to disseminate information and encourage all eligible voters to prepare themselves to participate in the upcoming 6th mandate Commune/Sangkat Council election, scheduled for 2027. He emphasized the importance of ensuring full participation.
