In a police spot report that was released on Wednesday, the Police Regional Office 4A said anti-narcotics operatives arrested the suspect, identified only by the alias “Larry,” after he allegedly sold P500 worth of shabu to an undercover police officer in Barangay Banlic at around 11:05 p.m. Authorities said they recovered 13 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing about 85 grams of a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu. Based on the Dangerous Drugs Board’s standard valuation of P6,800 per gram, the confiscated illegal drugs were estimated to be worth P578,000. During a body search following the arrest, police also recovered from the suspect an unlicensed caliber .45 pistol loaded with seven rounds of ammunition.
