TNI-Polri Synergy to Secure Jakarta Emphasized by Metro Jaya Police Chief

Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Asep Edi Suheri stated that the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Police are strengthening their synergy in maintaining Jakarta's stability and security. He conveyed this after the "Jaga Jakarta untuk Indonesia" (Guarding Jakarta for Indonesia) National Assembly held at Monas, Jakarta, on Saturday (8/8). The assembly was also attended by the Commander of Jaya Military Regional Command, Lieutenant General TNI Deddy Suryadi. "The national statement by the Commander of Jaya Military Regional Command and the Metro Jaya Police Chief emphasizes the spirit of unity and synergy between the TNI and the Police in maintaining Jakarta's stability and security," said Asep. Asep stated that the Jaya Military Regional Command and the Polda Metro Jaya will strengthen synergy, solidarity, and coordination with support from the Jakarta Provincial Government and the participation of all elements of society. Asep conveyed that this National Assembly is not merely ceremonial but a form of commitment from community elements in maintaining Jakarta's unity, order, and conduciveness. He emphasized that all elements of society have a very important role in maintaining harmony and environmental security in Jakarta. "The pillars of democracy, the pillars of resilience in unity and integrity of the NKRI, the Police, the TNI, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, and all elements of society are to mingle, showing that the value of unity and culture is for all of us," he said. He stated that this national assembly was also held to instill love for the homeland. "The spirit is built from guarding Jakarta by prioritizing unity, care, communication, and joint participation.
