CPP Holds Meeting with 750 Local Party Members and Youth in Kampong Chhnang

Chhay Nyseun, a member of the Standing Committee of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and First Deputy Head of the CPP Working Group for Kampong Chhnang Province, presided over a meeting with 750 local party members, party families, and youth from two villages in Tang Krassang commune, Teuk Phos district, Kampong Chhnang province, on Sunday, July 12, 2026. He also serves as the head of the CPP Working Group for Samaki Mean Chey District and Teuk Phos District. The meeting was organized separately at two locations: the first at Trapeang Neak Pagoda in Veal Sbov village, and the second at Romas village pagoda, both within Tang Krassang commune, Teuk Phos district. According to the welcome report by Mrs. Sa Pholly, Chief of the Veal Sbov Village Party Branch, the branch has 58 party groups and 387 party families, with a total of 789 members. Mr. Tum San, Deputy Chief of the Romas Village Party Branch, reported that the branch has 46 party groups and 356 party families, totaling 680 members. During his addresses at each location, Chhay Nyseun expressed his profound gratitude to all party members for their consistent love, trust, and votes that have ensured the CPP's victories in past mandates. He stated that this support has enabled the CPP to continue forming the government and develop the nation in all sectors, both economically and socially. He further emphasized that the CPP is the party that liberated the nation from the Khmer Rouge genocidal regime and brought about full territorial unity, political peace, and stability through the "Win-Win" policy implemented by the father of peace, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen. He added that the CPP, elected by the people, serves their interests with loyalty and remains with them in all circumstances to further develop the country in line with the party's political program. Moreover, Chhay Nyseun urged all party members at all levels to continue trusting the government and to reject incitement or the dissemination of false information by opposition groups, both domestically and abroad. He concluded by calling on all party members to maintain solidarity, internal unity, and to continue voting for the CPP, so that the party can continue to safeguard peace and develop the nation further, moving towards achieving the vision of Cambodia as a high-income country by 2050.
