Phang Nga – Phang Nga is mobilizing all available resources to assist residents hit by widespread flooding after intense rainfall, with the provincial governor directing a fully coordinated relief effort. Governor Phairat Phetchuan has ordered every relevant agency to closely track the situation and deliver aid without delay. He assigned Deputy Governor Buncha Thanuin to oversee the on-site response, ensuring prompt aid delivery and monitoring conditions in each district. The province has established a flood control center to coordinate real-time reporting of damages, evacuation assistance, and the provision of food, water, and medical support as needed. Rescue operations are underway, including the use of boats to reach stranded residents in severely affected areas and the setup of temporary shelters. The government is also considering psychological support and financial assistance for the victims to aid in recovery. The flooding is believed to be a result of prolonged monsoon rains combined with localized downpours.
