PEZA Registers AF Precision Components as Logistics Firm
The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) has approved the registration of AF Precision Components, Inc. (APCI) as an ecozone logistics service enterprise. The company will operate in the Cavite Economic Zone, expected to strengthen manufacturing supply chains.
The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) said it approved AF Precision Components, Inc.’s (APCI) registration as an ecozone logistics service enterprise. In a social media post on Monday, PEZA formalized its registration agreement with APCI, which will operate within the Cavite Economic Zone. The facility has an estimated project cost of P7.65 million, and is expected to employ an average of 25 workers as operations expand, PEZA said. APCI distributes industrial fasteners, hardware, and precision components from American and German manufacturers, while also supporting export-oriented industries. With its Cavite facility, APCI is expected to strengthen supply chains of companies in the electronics, semiconductor, automotive, telecommunications, metal fabrication, and advanced manufacturing industries, ensuring timely access to critical production inputs. “By bringing world-class industrial components and precision hardware directly to our locators, we are driving down lead times, enhancing production efficiency, and solidifying the integration of our electronics, automotive, and semiconductor supply chains,” PEZA Director-General Tereso O. Panga said. The expansion of APCI reinforces the country’s economic zones as premium hubs for high-value and advanced manufacturing, PEZA added. — Beatriz Marie D. Cruz Source: BusinessWorld Economy
