NA President Concludes Visit to South Korea, Boosting Economic and Tech Ties

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue has concluded a successful official visit to the Republic of Korea (RoK). During his stay, Chairman Hue held meetings with Prime Minister Han Duck-soo and National Assembly Speaker Cho Jeong-sik. Discussions centered on the positive development of bilateral relations, particularly reaffirming the strong partnership between the two countries as leading important partners in economy, trade, and investment. Both sides highlighted the significant contribution of regular exchanges at all levels, especially high-level ones, to deepening bilateral ties. They agreed that Vietnam and South Korea are indispensable economic partners and committed to further strengthening their cooperation. Chairman Hue also met with leaders of major RoK conglomerates in Seoul, discussing investment opportunities and expanding economic cooperation in Vietnam. Additionally, a delegation from the Communist Party of Vietnam attended the first Intercontinental Dialogue of Political Parties in South Korea, further enhancing political exchanges. The visit also focused on promoting strategic technological cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea. Both nations confirmed their intention to strengthen collaboration in areas such as the digital economy and advanced technologies to achieve mutual development.
