Around 70 Cambodian Students Arrive in South Korea for Studies; Ambassador Extends Encouragement

Approximately 70 Cambodian students arrived at Incheon International Airport on Monday, August 31, 2026, to pursue their bachelor's and master's degrees in the Republic of Korea. His Excellency Khuon Ponrothanak, Cambodian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, along with his colleagues, welcomed the students upon their arrival. The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to CAMNEMI KOREA and various Korean universities for their assistance in facilitating the students' educational journey in South Korea. He also engaged in a discussion with the students, encouraging them to study diligently, acquire knowledge, skills, and new experiences to contribute to national development upon their graduation. Furthermore, he urged each student to uphold the nation's honor, disseminate Cambodian culture and civilization to their foreign friends, and foster strong relationships within the Cambodian community in Korea.
