Vietnam Ensures Smooth Traffic on National Day Holiday's Final Day

On the afternoon and evening of September 2nd, functional forces proactively managed and regulated traffic at the gateways to the capital, ensuring safety and smooth flow for citizens returning to Hanoi after the National Day holiday. Over the first three days of the National Day holiday, more than 190,000 passenger trips were recorded on the free metro service, contributing to smooth traffic within Hanoi. Traffic in Hanoi remained smooth during the initial days of the National Day holiday. Despite increased vehicle volume, the Phap Van-Cau Gie expressway remained clear. On the first day of the holiday, traffic on the North-South expressway increased by nearly 60%, yet no significant disruptions were reported. On the first day of the National Day holiday (September 2nd), air travel saw a significant surge, while bus terminals experienced a decrease in passengers. These measures are part of the government's efforts to facilitate citizen mobility and support the swift resumption of economic activities.
