CIB Arrests Three More in Online Gambling Crackdown, Seizes Over 3 Million Baht in Assets

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has expanded its "SEVENTY-FOUR MILLION" operation targeting the Premsuk365 online gambling network, arresting three additional suspects. Authorities seized assets valued at over 3 million baht. Officers from the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD) arrested Mr. Chaiwat, 32, under a criminal court arrest warrant. According to the investigation, he is believed to be one of the key operators of the Premsuk365 network, allegedly involved in running online gambling websites. At the time of his arrest, items worth approximately 1 million baht, including cash, luxury watches, and smartphones, were seized. In parallel operations, another team of investigators apprehended two other individuals, a 35-year-old male and a 28-year-old female, who are also believed to be involved in the network's operations. They were arrested at different locations within Bangkok, and assets totaling over 2 million baht, including cash, bank accounts, and cryptocurrency wallets, were confiscated from them. According to the CIB, the Premsuk365 network is estimated to have tens of thousands of users within Thailand, facilitating the illicit exchange of substantial sums of money. Authorities are continuing their investigation, considering the possibility that the network is also involved in money laundering and other criminal activities. This crackdown underscores the Thai government's continued firm stance against the proliferation of online gambling within the country. The CIB has stated its commitment to intensifying similar enforcement actions to maintain public safety and social order.
