Cambodia Leads ASEAN+3 Public Service Modernization Plan Approval

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service, H.E. Sun Many, led the 8th ASEAN+3 Ministers on Civil Service Meeting (ACCSM+3) in Siem Reap. The meeting was attended by the Secretary-General of ASEAN, ministers, senior officials from ASEAN, and representatives from partner countries: China, Japan, and South Korea. The meeting reviewed, discussed, and approved a total of 10 agenda items. Key among these was the adoption of the "ACCSM+3 Work Plan for 2026-2030," which will serve as a common roadmap for the next five years. Participants also engaged in a lively exchange of views on the topic of "Innovation for Better Public Service Delivery." Additionally, the report of the 8th ACCSM+3 Senior Officials Meeting was reviewed and approved, along with preparations for the upcoming 9th meeting. In his capacity as Chair, Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many expressed his deepest gratitude to China, Japan, and South Korea for their unwavering support and partnership with ASEAN for over 15 years. He highlighted that this strong partnership has significantly contributed to enhancing the professionalism, expertise, and modernization of the ASEAN public service sector, aiming to ensure the delivery of quality, efficient, and trustworthy services to citizens. Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many expressed his firm belief that through the collective efforts of ASEAN and the Plus Three countries, all agreed-upon plans and goals will be transformed into concrete actions and tangible achievements for the benefit of all people in the region.
