Mandalay General Hospital has arranged to systematically hand over patients brought to the hospital without escorts to the responsible persons in the emergency department, so that social welfare organizations can facilitate the process, according to information from Mandalay General Hospital. It is understood from the statements of social welfare organizations that difficulties are arising when patients are transported to the hospital without escorts. Regarding these difficulties, the hospital explained to the media on the afternoon of July 24 that it has made arrangements to facilitate the process. Dr. San Lwin Oo, the superintendent of Mandalay General Hospital, explained, "Emergency accident patients without escorts arrive at the hospital's emergency department from time to time. In emergencies, we accept and treat them. To contact the family of the person concerned, the hospital has a Medical Social Relations Department. The responsible persons in this department work to contact the family of the person concerned. Sometimes, when there are too many patients without escorts in the emergency department, the social welfare organizations themselves provide care for a few hours, and some organizations are unable to provide care after dropping them off. In such cases, we have made arrangements for them to be able to systematically hand over to the responsible persons in the respective emergency department and return," he explained. Furthermore, social welfare organizations that collaborate with the hospital were invited, and discussions were held with the participation of the hospital administration team, doctors from various departments including the emergency treatment department, and members of parliament to jointly resolve issues. It is understood that further discussions will be held by inviting social welfare organizations again.
