Man Arrested in South Cotabato with P1M Worth of Suspected Shabu in Rental Car

KORONADAL CITY — A 43-year-old man was arrested after police recovered at least P1 million worth of suspected shabu from a car he rented following an inspection in Surallah, South Cotabato, on Monday afternoon. According to the Surallah Municipal Police Station (MPS), the vehicle, a blue Suzuki Dzire with plate number GBF 8005, was rented by the suspect. Authorities found the illegal substance during a vehicle inspection, prompting a search that led to the discovery of the shabu. The suspect was apprehended on the spot and is currently in police custody. An investigation into the source and distribution network of the drugs is ongoing.
