Cambodia Youth Federation Launches Working Group for Information Sector, Enhancing Youth-Led Social Contributions
The Youth Federation of Cambodia (YFU) has officially launched its working group for the information sector. On the afternoon of July 7, 2026, in Phnom Penh, His Excellency Hun Many, President of the Youth Federation of Cambodia (YFU), presided over the ceremony to announce and acknowledge the composition of the YFU Working Group for the Information Sector. The event was attended by approximately 500 members, including Excellencies, Ladies, and Gentlemen from the Standing Committee and Central Committee of the YFU, as well as members of the YFU Working Group for the Information Sector. To commence the proceedings, His Excellency Ngoun Chanlinpolen, Chief of the YFU Working Group for the Information Sector, extended a warm welcome to the leadership and members. He then presented a summary report on the activities undertaken by the leadership and members of the YFU Working Group for the Information Sector in contributing to social, cultural, humanitarian, and dissemination work, in line with the directives of His Excellency Hun Many, President of the YFU. Following this, His Excellency Samheng Borath, a member of the Standing Committee and Central Committee of the YFU, read out the decision regarding the acknowledgment of the YFU Working Group for the Information Sector. This group comprises one Honorary President, 25 Honorary Members, one President, nine Vice Presidents, and a total of 467 members. Upon receiving their appointments, Mr. Touch Narath, Permanent Vice President and member of the YFU Working Group for the Information Sector, pledged to diligently uphold the statutes, internal regulations, and decisions of the YFU. He committed to continuously preserving and remembering the spirit of the "United Front for the Salvation of Cambodia" of December 2, 1978. Furthermore, he vowed to adhere to journalistic ethics and professional standards, taking full responsibility for the production and dissemination of information in accordance with the institution's objectives, and to strive to the best of his ability to contribute to the further development and success of the YFU Working Group for the Information Sector.
