Additionally, Hoa Perfect U Medical Co., Ltd. was fined VND34 million (approximately $1,500 USD) and ordered to remove all infringing advertisements for displaying signs not in compliance with regulations and using exaggerated terms like "best," "unique," or "number one" in its advertising without supporting legal documents. Individual violators were also penalized. A woman residing on Da Tuong Street was fined VND72.5 million (approximately $3,100 USD), suspended for 12 months, and ordered to return VND2.5 million ($110 USD) in illegal profits for practicing medicine and treating patients without a license. A man on Ta Quang Buu Street was fined VND51.3 million (approximately $2,200 USD), suspended for 18 months, ordered to destroy infringing goods, and return nearly VND14.8 million ($640 USD) in illegal profits for unlicensed medical practice and trading goods of unknown origin. Earlier in July, the Department of Health also penalized several cosmetic and general clinics. For instance, Anh Duong General Hospital Joint Stock Company - General Clinic was fined VND149 million (approximately $6,500 USD), suspended for 18 months, and had its medical practice license revoked for 3 months for operating during a suspension period, employing unlicensed practitioners, and assigning unregistered personnel. LG Clinic Aesthetic Center was fined VND86 million (approximately $3,700 USD) for assigning unregistered personnel and providing services beyond its licensed scope. The professional responsible person had their professional certificate suspended for one month.
