MPT phone lines restored in Falam Township, Chin State

It is known that MPT phone lines have been restored in Falam Township, Chin State, where phone lines were disrupted due to terrorist incidents. It is known that as the MPT mobile phone lines of the state-owned Myanmar Posts and Telecommunications have been restored in Falam Township, efforts are being made to enable the use of MPT mobile phone SIM cards starting from September 16. Dr. Thant Zaw Lwin, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, visited and observed these efforts along with the Chin State Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation and members of the Chin State Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Committee. Due to terrorist incidents, telephone communication lines were disrupted in Falam Township, and only MEC-CDMA phone lines were being used. Now that the state-owned Myanmar Posts and Telecommunications MPT mobile phone lines have been restored, Chin State Myanmar Posts and Telecommunications staff are based at the Falam Township General Administration Department and are carrying out services such as reissuing lost or damaged MPT mobile SIM cards, registering SIM cards, and selling new SIM cards.
