Cambodia's Agricultural Community Development Fund Approves Key Projects for Refugees and Land Concessionaires

The Board of Directors of the Agricultural Community Development Fund (M.O.S.) has approved two significant projects: one to support the livelihoods of refugees in Banteay Meanchey province and another for land concessionaires in Stung Treng province. The approval took place during the Fund's first board meeting, chaired by H.E. Dith Tina, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and Chairman of the M.O.S. Board, on the afternoon of September 7, 2026, at the Ministry of Agriculture. The meeting reviewed and approved proposals from the Modern Agricultural Community Union to provide financial support for: * The "Modern Agricultural Community Development Project Borey 3,000 Households" located in Rom Cham village, Slakram commune, Svay Chek district, Banteay Meanchey province. * The "Modern Chili Farm Development Project" located in Ou Sev area, Sesan district, Stung Treng province. These two projects will be implemented with support from the M.O.S. Their aim is to establish agricultural production chains, create employment, and improve the living standards of refugees in Banteay Meanchey and land concessionaires protecting forests in Stung Treng province.
