Suyudi Ario Seto Appointed as Indonesian National Police Chief by President Prabowo

The Indonesian House of Representatives has approved Komjen Pol Suyudi Ario Seto as the new National Police Chief (Kapolri), replacing Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo. President Prabowo is scheduled to officially appoint Suyudi this afternoon. Suyudi has extensive investigative experience, having previously served as the head of the National Narcotics Agency.
