Vietnam Military Medical Academy Begins New Academic Year for 2026 Entrants

The Vietnam Military Medical Academy has commenced its new academic year, welcoming a record 432 new students for the 2026 intake. Among the new cohort, 141 students are enrolled in the military medical training program, 257 are in the civilian medical and pharmaceutical programs, and 34 are international students from the Lao People's Army and the Royal Cambodian Army. The academy is actively modernizing its training programs in preparation for the national medical practitioner licensing exam, scheduled to begin in 2027. This initiative aims to ensure that graduates possess the necessary competencies for clinical practice. In recent years, the Military Medical Academy has focused on updating its curriculum and integrating cutting-edge technologies to cultivate high-caliber professionals. The institution has a track record of producing distinguished graduates, including those recognized as "Outstanding Youth Faces of the Entire Army."
