Indonesia, Japan Deepen Labor Cooperation for Skilled Worker Development

Indonesia and Japan have agreed to further strengthen their cooperation in the labor sector, aiming to develop skilled workers in Indonesia and expand their acceptance in Japan. This cooperation is expected to promote Indonesia's workforce development and contribute to resolving Japan's severe labor shortage issues. Specifically, training programs for Indonesian workers in specific job categories and skill areas sought by Japan are likely to be expanded.
