Vietnam Showcases Culture Abroad, Achieves Sports Success

Vietnam is actively promoting its culture internationally and achieving notable successes in sports. Abroad, events celebrating Vietnam Culture Day and cultural festivals in France and Japan have showcased Vietnamese art, cuisine, and traditions, drawing international attention. Notably, "Ao Dai Fashion Week" in London reinterpreted the traditional 'Ao Dai' within international fashion standards, highlighting designers and craftsmanship to present the modern appeal of Vietnamese culture. The introduction of a Code of Conduct for Cultural Behaviour in the Digital Environment is a new initiative aimed at fostering healthy information flow and responsible online actions. This effort by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism seeks to address misinformation and harmful content while promoting positive values. In sports, Wushu athlete Nguyen Thi Dieu Ly secured a bronze medal in the women's 68kg category. In swimming, while the women's football team advanced from the group stage after a draw with Thailand in the 2026 Asian Games (ASIAD), a swimmer also booked a spot in the ASIAD 2026 finals. These achievements reflect early results from Vietnam's youth development programs and signal potential for future international success.
