Cambodia: Party Official Emphasizes Youth Engagement and Infrastructure Development in Kompong Thom

In Kompong Thom province, Cambodia, Mr. Pang Vee, head of the Commune Party Working Group, representing HE Thao Chettha, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Working Group and Head of the District Party Working Group of Stung, led a meeting and discussion with the youth group in Trea Commune, Stung District on July 19, 2026, at the Trea Commune Party Headquarters. Mr. Pang Vee highlighted the role and importance of youth as a strong pillar and an active driving force in serving the people and developing the local area. He emphasized the implementation of the strategy "The old know the way, the young have the strength" to ensure high work efficiency. He also instructed all party members and youth to continue strengthening solidarity and to stay close to the people at all times to grasp their concerns and solve challenges promptly. Furthermore, he urged all members to be well-prepared to achieve victory for the party in the upcoming 6th mandate Commune/Sangkat Council elections in 2027 and the 8th mandate National Assembly elections in 2028. On the same day, Mr. Pang Vee and the working group also inspected the progress of the construction of a 1,300-meter road in a development area leading towards Tuol Preah Theat Pagoda, a generous donation from HE Minister Thao Chettha, Head of the Stung District Party Working Group, to facilitate travel and transportation of agricultural products for the local people. Currently, construction has achieved over 90% of the total project, and the working group is committed to pushing for the completion of this construction according to the set plan, so that it can be officially put into use soon.
