ICC Sanctions Won't Affect Duterte Trial, Lawyers Say

Proposed US sanctions on the International Criminal Court (ICC) will not impact the trial of former President Rodrigo Duterte concerning his war on drugs, according to the National Union of People’s Lawyers (NUPL). The ICC is not reliant on US funding, and Duterte's trial is expected to proceed as scheduled.
