KPK Probes Alleged Fund Transfers to Silmy Karim's Doctoral Supervisor

Indonesia's Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating allegations of regular fund transfers to the doctoral supervisor of former Director General of Immigration, Silmy Karim, and Bagus Bramantyo, in connection with a case of alleged extortion related to foreign resident permits. The funds are suspected to originate from illicit collections within the Directorate General of Immigration.
