On July 15, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Construction, U Myo Myint, along with the Minister for Municipal Affairs of the Chin State Government, visited the homes of local residents in Falam Township that were damaged and destroyed due to terrorist incidents, and provided construction materials, accompanied by members of the Restoration and Reconstruction Committee in Chin State, members of the Working Committee, local elders, and responsible officials from relevant departments. After inspecting the status of the arrival of construction materials provided by the state and the status of temporary storage and safekeeping, the Deputy Minister instructed the responsible officials to manage the provided materials in the restoration and reconstruction efforts in Falam Township, ensuring there are no discrepancies with the ground situation and no wastage, and to ensure that local residents who genuinely need support are not left out and that distribution is carried out as quickly as possible. Following this, the Deputy Minister and his delegation, along with local military personnel, police force members, fire brigade members, and a joint team of responsible officials from Falam District and Township, visited the homes of local residents in Falam Township that were damaged and destroyed due to terrorist incidents, and provided essential construction materials such as cement, corrugated iron, and corrugated iron roofing sheets. Subsequently, the Deputy Minister and his delegation observed the efforts of local military personnel, police force members, fire brigade members, responsible officials from relevant departments, and local residents who were jointly repairing houses that were completely destroyed, partially damaged, or slightly damaged. For the 11 completely destroyed houses in Talantlo Ward, Balai Ward, and Kinmarl Ward of Falam Township, 55 bags of cement and 330 sheets of corrugated iron were provided; for the 9 partially damaged houses, 45 bags of cement and 180 sheets of corrugated iron were provided; for the 1 slightly damaged house, 10 sheets of corrugated iron were provided; for the buildings of the Falam Township Police Force, 100 sheets of corrugated iron were provided; for the No. 2 Basic Education Primary School, 11 sheets of corrugated iron were provided; and for the homes of local residents, 54 sheets of corrugated iron were provided. In total, 100 bags of cement, 685 sheets of corrugated iron, and corrugated iron roofing sheets were provided, and it was reported that support continues to be provided for the damaged buildings and houses.
