Indonesia Proposes High Salaries for Village Cooperatives Managers, Equivalent to IT Engineers

The Indonesian government has proposed monthly salaries and allowances of up to Rp8.3 million (approximately $540 USD) for managers of Village/Sub-district Cooperatives (Kopdes). This figure is comparable to the salary of software engineers in Jakarta. These cooperatives are intended to function as infrastructure for distributing government subsidies and goods.
