Phuket – Police have arrested a 52-year-old Chinese national who had allegedly overstayed his visa in Thailand for nearly eight years. Authorities identified the suspect as Mr. Yong, 52, and apprehended him around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday (September 13th) near a residence on Chao Fah Road in Phuket Town. According to Thai authorities, Mr. Yong had remained in Thailand for 2,823 days, approximately seven years and nine months, beyond his authorized visa period.
