Earthquake of magnitude 4.9 occurred near Pale town

The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology announced that a slightly small earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 occurred early in the morning of August 5 near Pale town in Yinmarbin District, Sagaing Region. It has been announced that a slightly small earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 occurred, centered at a depth of 89 kilometers, approximately 55 miles north-northwest of the Nyaung-U seismic station and approximately 22 miles west of Pale town, at around 6:41:57 AM on August 5.
