AYEYARWADDY TIMES July 16 It is known that members of the 7 EAO Alliance will study the Constitution of India from July 16 to 18 in Nay Pyi Taw, organized by the Indian Embassy. It is learned that they will study the basic principles of the Constitution of India and the evolution of federalism at the MGallery Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw. The member organizations of the 7 EAO Alliance include the Shan State Restoration Council (RCSS/SSA), the New Mon State Party (NMSP), the Democratic Karen Buddhist Army (DKBA), the Karen Peace Council (KNU, KNLA-PC), the Lahu Democratic Union (LDU), the Pa-O National Liberation Organization (PNLO), and the Arakan Liberation Party (ALP). These seven ethnic armed organizations uphold the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) and are engaged in peace talks with the election government. The 7 EAO Alliance was formed on March 18, 2024.
