Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister to Attend Beijing Xiangshan Forum
Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense, Tea Seiha, will attend the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum in Beijing from September 15-17, following an invitation from China's Minister of National Defense. He is slated to deliver a speech on regional conflict resolution and hold bilateral talks with his Chinese counterpart.
Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense, General Tea Seiha, will lead a high-level military delegation to attend the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum, scheduled to take place in Beijing from September 15 to 17, 2026, at the invitation of Admiral Dong Jun, Minister of National Defense of the People's Republic of China. During his participation in the forum, Deputy Prime Minister Tea Seiha is scheduled to deliver a speech at the second plenary session under the theme "Regional Conflicts: Obstacles and Paths to Resolution." Outside the forum's framework, he will also hold bilateral meetings with Admiral Dong Jun, with the aim of further strengthening the "ironclad friendship," comprehensive strategic partnership, and defense and security cooperation between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the People's Republic of China. Concurrently, the Deputy Prime Minister will engage in bilateral working discussions with his counterparts from the Lao People's Democratic Republic, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the Republic of Singapore, as well as representatives from participating countries and dialogue partners. These meetings are expected to provide opportunities for exchanging views on regional and international security developments, deepening defense and security cooperation, enhancing mutual understanding, and promoting practical cooperation for peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and beyond.
