Photo Exhibition Celebrates 50 Years of Vietnam-Thailand Diplomatic Ties

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Thailand diplomatic relations (August 6, 1976 - 2026), the Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi, in collaboration with the Viet Nam News Agency, kicked off a photo exhibition titled "The Lens of Diplomacy: 50 Years of Thailand-Vietnam Relations," at the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum in Hanoi. The exhibition runs until July 30. The photo exhibition visually showcases the history of cooperation and cultural exchange between the two countries over the years, celebrating the progress of their friendly relations over the past five decades. The displayed photographs highlight the deepening ties between Vietnam and Thailand in various fields, including politics, economy, culture, and people-to-people exchanges. As a key member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Vietnam places significant importance on its relations with Thailand within the region. Thailand is a crucial trading partner for Vietnam and shares close ties in tourism and investment. This exhibition aims to reaffirm the cooperative relationship between the two nations and foster momentum for further collaboration in the future. Under its one-party system, Vietnam's foreign policy prioritizes national stability and economic development. Strengthening relations within ASEAN is particularly important from the perspective of maintaining regional balance amidst China's growing influence. Relations with Thailand serve as one of the important pillars of Vietnam's foreign strategy to ensure regional stability and economic benefits.
