President U Min Aung Hlaing and wife arrive in Vietnam

Led by President U Min Aung Hlaing and his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, a Myanmar high-level delegation arrived at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, Vietnam, at 4 PM local time on September 4th, following an invitation from Vietnamese President Mr. To Lam and his wife for an official visit. The Myanmar high-level delegation, led by the President and his wife, was welcomed by officials from the Vietnamese government, officials from the Myanmar Embassy in Vietnam, and the honor guard. Accompanying the President and his wife on the trip were Union Ministers U Khin Maung Yi, U Tin Maung Swe, U Min Naung, Dr. Charlie Than, U Htun Ohn, Coordinator (Army, Navy, Air Force) General Ko Ko Oo, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Aung Naing Soe, Deputy Ministers, and relevant officials. During the welcoming ceremony, the Vietnamese honor guard, in accordance with the customs and traditions of welcoming heads of state, took positions on both sides of the red carpet, paid respects, and presented welcome bouquets to President U Min Aung Hlaing and his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla. During the visit, the President is scheduled to meet with the President of Vietnam and hold bilateral discussions, meet with the Prime Minister of Vietnam and the Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly, and also receive and meet with individuals from business organizations. Furthermore, he is scheduled to attend the Myanmar-Vietnam Economic Forum and visit digital technology and industrial sectors in Vietnam, it is reported. It is also reported that during the visit, discussions will be held with candid exchange of views on matters of strengthening the existing friendly relations between Myanmar and Vietnam, increasing cooperation between the governments, parliaments, and peoples of the two countries, and cooperation in economic, cultural, and various sectors.
