Cambodia Supports High School Exam Students and Impoverished Families

In Banteay Stoung commune, Stueng district, Kampong Thom province, northeastern Cambodia, the Cambodian People's Party's grassroots working group held a meeting with 71 students on the morning of August 8, 2026, who are preparing for their high school exit examinations. The meeting was led by Tang Viyutda, head of the party's working group for Banteay Stoung commune, representing Ing Thao Chetda, deputy head of the party's working group for Kampong Thom province and head of the working group for Stueng district. During the event, Tang Viyutda conveyed the high regards and well wishes from Ing Thao Chetda to all the students. He emphasized that their 12 years of diligent study would culminate in the upcoming examinations, which are crucial for charting their life plans. He also advised the students to choose fields of study based on their genuine abilities and interests, rather than following their peers. Furthermore, he encouraged them to continue expanding their knowledge for their own future, their families, and the nation. He personally provided financial assistance to all 71 students to cover their travel expenses to the provincial capital for the exams. Additionally, the working group took the opportunity to visit residents in Baveang village, delivering gifts and cash to six families facing financial hardship. Each family received 20 kilograms of rice, canned mackerel, fish sauce, soy sauce, and a sum of money. This initiative demonstrates the Cambodian People's Party's deep engagement with local communities, particularly its focus on supporting youth and families in need. The high school exit examinations are a pivotal moment for Cambodian youth in determining their future paths, and such support from the party is expected to encourage them to focus on their studies and build their future careers.
