Nghe An Province Accelerates "Skillful Mass Mobilization" Movement

Nghe An Province in central Vietnam has announced a plan to accelerate the "Skillful Mass Mobilization" (Dân vận khéo) movement, aimed at fostering community development and unity. According to information released by the provincial People's Committee on August 5, the provincial Steering Committee for the "Skillful Mass Mobilization" movement has formulated specific guidelines for promoting this initiative. These guidelines detail the principles, evaluation criteria, and the process for establishing and recognizing exemplary models and cases. The "Skillful Mass Mobilization" movement is a crucial method emphasized by the Communist Party of Vietnam during the process of socialist construction, designed to garner public support and implement policies. It specifically aims to elicit active participation and cooperation from residents in local socio-economic development, infrastructure improvement, and cultural and social activities. Through this movement, Nghe An Province seeks to enhance the sense of solidarity among its residents and strengthen trust in the Party and the government. Vietnam is currently experiencing rapid economic growth, while maintaining social stability remains a significant challenge. Under a one-party system, mechanisms to mobilize the populace towards achieving national goals under the leadership of the Communist Party are indispensable, and the "Skillful Mass Mobilization" movement forms a core part of this. The province's current initiative is also presumed to aim at enhancing governance capabilities at the local level and demonstrating contributions to improving people's lives.
