SRI RACHA, Chonburi: Queen Savang Vadhana Memorial Hospital (Somdej Phra Boromma Ratchathewi Na Si Racha Hospital) held its Green Cleaning Day 2026 on the seaside helipad grounds, launching the “Green Cleaning Challenge 2026: 4 Colors 4 Zones with Green Somdej.” Dr. Tanate Jadwattanakul, Deputy Director of the hospital, presided over the opening. The initiative aims to raise environmental awareness and promote sustainable cleaning practices within the hospital. The "4 Colors 4 Zones" concept involves color-coding different areas of the hospital and encouraging the use of eco-friendly cleaning methods and detergents tailored to each zone, thereby reducing the hospital's overall environmental footprint. Representatives from the Thai Red Cross also participated in the event, strengthening community ties. The hospital demonstrated its commitment to contributing to environmental conservation as a member of the local community, in addition to providing medical services. Such activities may have a ripple effect on other healthcare facilities and public institutions across Thailand.
